The daily newspaper of Trieste "Il Piccolo" is among those publications which first noticed the quality of sandtex products (now rialto). In 1966, the newspaper noted that sandtex protective coating "yields special technical and esthetical advantages", in the restoration of the Italian shipping company Lloyd Triestino's prestigious building.
