Living
in Harmony
Myriad
are the ways of touting what you want to sell, but few are the
opportunities for making a cultutal happening out of it. But this
is just what Casarmonia does. A hook-show wanted by Sandtex in
Trieste, a Company that produces paints, preparatory materials
and finishes for the building trades, tells the story, through
texts by Clara Mantica and drawings by Antonio Villas, of how
a house can be built to bring it into harmony with man and his
environment. The book explores certain little-known fields in
detail, such as geo-biology (the study of cosmic and terrestrial
influences to which every living organism is subject) or bioarchitecture
(a comparatively new discipline that determines what topographical
conformations, typologies and materials are best for building
purposes). The chapter dedicated to color (colors and well-being,
living with color, color and lighting and applying colorlandscape,
architecture and design) explains how different chromatic tones
can exert a positive influence over our lives. Dinsah Ghardiali,
a noted researcher in the field of color therapy, has actually,
in fact, established a relationship between colors and the physiology
of the body. Orange, for example, according to his research, acts
as an antispasmodic respiratory stimulant, while green is an antiseptic
germicide.
