Preparation
Remove any loose part of old paint, and patch and seal any damaged section. Apply one coat of RIALTO DURASIL, a water-based single-can, anti-saline efflorescence water-repellent and hardening primer. Average covering capacity: 0,3 l/m². Apply one coat of RIALTO FINISH diluted to 25% with water; Average covering capacity: 110 ml/m². Smooth and level with RIALTO WALLCEM BIANCO. Average covering capacity: 2 kg/m².

Finishing
Apply using a stainless steel trowel, one coat of RIALTO ANTIQUA type "1", a colored mineral plaster based on seasoned slaked lime, mineral aggregates with different granulometry and alcali- and UV ray-resistant pigments. Finish off with a wet sponge trowel. Water vapor permeability: 380 g/m² - 24 hours (DIN 53122 Regulations), µ=45, Sd=0.04 m. Surface adherence not lower than 10 kgf/cm². On a perfectly dry surface, apply a second coat of RIALTO ANTIQUA type "1" of a different color, usually lighter. Using templates prepared earlier, scratch and carve the second coat of RIALTO ANTIQUA type "1", until the color of the first coat is visible.
Average covering capacity on fine plaster for RIALTO ANTIQUA "1": 2,5 kg/m².
