Preparation
Remove any loose part of old paint, and patch and seal any damaged
section. Apply one coat of RIALTO DURASIL, a water-based single-can,
anti-saline efflorescence water-repellent and hardening primer.
Average covering capacity: 0,3 l/m². Apply one coat of RIALTO
FINISH diluted to 25% with water; average covering capacity: 110
ml/m². Smooth and level with RIALTO WALLCEM BIANCO. Average
covering capacity: 2 kg/m².
Finishing
Apply using a stainless steel trowel, two coats of RIALTO SINOPIA,
a mineral coating based on seasoned slaked lime, mineral aggregates
with different granulometry, colored earth and UV ray-resistant
inorganic pigments. Water vapor permeability not lower than 300
g/m² - 24 hours (DIN 53122 regulations), µ=320, Sd=0.16
m. Surface adherence not lower than 10kgf/cm². When the surface
is completely dry, sand and remove dust, then apply using a spray-gun,
RIALTO FIX 210, based on a deacidified amino-functional polydimetylsiloxane,
diluted with 1:15 water, in order to make the surface water-repellent
and suede-like to the touch.
Average covering capacity on fine plaster of
RIALTO SINOPIA: 0.9 kg/m²;
RIALTO FIX 210: 10 ml/m².
