Preparation
On a perfectly dry RIALTO MALTA GREZZA GM undercoat, with or without
RIALTO COCCIOPESTO CC, apply using a trowel RIALTO MALTA FINE
FM, a wet ready-to-use mortar for fine plaster, based on slaked
lime seasoned for at least three months, free of concrete or any
other additive, made by baking river pebbles mixed with siliceous
sand in the correct granulometric proportion, and water vapor
permeable.
Finishing
Apply on the thin mortar layer while it is still wet, two coats
of RIALTO EPOCA OTTOCENTO (diluted to 30% with water), a mineral
coating based on slaked lime seasoned for at least two years,
mixed with natural earth and marble powder. Allow about 10-20
minutes before applying the second coat. Apply RIALTO EPOCA OTTOCENTO
with a brush and immediately trowel the surface with a wet sponge
trowel. Water vapor permeability: 430 g/m² - 24 hours (ASTM-E96
Regulations), µ=140, Sd=0.05 m. Average covering capacity
of RIALTO MALTA FINE FM: 3 kg/m².
Average covering capacity of RIALTO EPOCA OTTOCENTO: 0.4 l/m².
