Preparation
Remove any loose paint or plaster material. With a steel trowel,
level the surface (layer thickness: approximately 4 mm) using
a mix composed of: 2 parts of RIALTO MATONAL, 3 parts of Portland
Cement, 3 parts of sand and water as needed (parts in volume).
Average covering capacity for 4-mm thickness of RIALTO MATONAL:
1 l/m². Where the surface is damaged, incorporate RIALTO
FIBRATEX, an alcali-resistant fiberglass (width: 25 cm). Allow
the surface to dry completely before applying one coat of RIALTO
DOMOSIL diluted to 30% with water. Average covering capacity on
fine plaster: 1 l/10 m². Allow the substrate to dry completely
before applying the finishing product.
Finishing
On a dry plaster surface, apply one single coat of RIALTO ERALIT
SILOSSANICO, a siloxane coating with weather-resistant embodied
shade, based on oligomeric siloxane alkylates, selected inert
minerals, and a permanent-elasticity copolymer thermoplastic binder,
using a stainless steel spatula. Surface adherence: > 6 kgf/cm².
Water vapor permeability: 180 g/m² - 24 hours (ASTM E96 Regulations),
µ=100, Sd=0.12 m.
Average covering capacity: 1.5 kg/m².
